Terry Jervis
is recognised in as an innovative writer, television
producer and director. His background in all forms
of modern media communications is extensive; ranging
from radio and print, multi-media, internet, mobile
phone content and digital platforms. Terry entered a
partnership with the Royal Air Force Museum which
was instrumental in setting up and launching the
Royal Air Force merchandising programme, sanctioned
by the Secretary of State for Defence.
This background of pushing the
barrier of entertainment comes from his track record
in major live international broadcast TV events, and
as a record producer. Although Terry's career
started in broadcast journalism, he is now a main
provider of entertainment and content programming
across music, comedy, children's, documentary
television and non working alongside non-broadcast
institutions that require his way of thinking,
management and new business development.
Currently, Terry
has realised a boyhood dream. Having read Marvel
comics and watched the movies, he now finds himself
working with this highly regarded 70 year old brand.
JEM has a representation license agreement with
Marvel using such characters as Spider-Man, The
Incredible Hulk, Iron-Man, Fantastic Four and X-Men,
to name just a few, to help facilitate creative
engagement in the world of education.
Terry intends to
to use the heroic values of these characters to to
Help young people overcome many of the social issues
of the day such as bullying, the dangers of the
internet, and drug and alcohol abuse. This will be
done through entertainment and joint ventures with
Education Authorities introducing such projects as
Comics in Classrooms.



In 2000 the
Royal Air Force
sought Terry's expertise to help promote and
increase their international and public profile. In
2004 he and the Royal Air Force Museum
developed the official licensing and merchandising
programme along with aspects of TV and film
related entertainment - such as the Red Arrows 40th Anniversary DVD with
production company Impact Image and Contender Home
Video. The new merchandising programme is now being
run directly through the Royal Air Force's publicity
department and IMG. Terry continues to develop new
projects with the Royal Air Force Museum.

Because of Terry's other
interests in and outside of the media with a number
of causes, he is recognised for his progressive
thinking and leadership qualities; consulting with
non-media businesses, and serving on the UK
government media committee and the boards of other
organisations.
